FULL PLANNING

This is the service for couples who want someone to guide them through the planning process from start to finish. We will be with you every step of the way, from finding the perfect venue until the moment the last piece of confetti is swept from the floor.
We'll get along great if you:

  • Value a great guest experience: You want people fed, entertained, and comfortable. Let your family relax and celebrate while we take care of logistics.
  • Want a wedding infused with your personality, but recognize DIY isn't always the way to do it.
  • Are decisive when presented with options, but don't always have time to track those options down.
  • Appreciate a straightforward approach and trust professional guidance when it's offered.
  • Recognize the value an experienced team of vendors brings to the table. 
  • Believe in investing budget where it will make the most impact.
  • Are responsive, kind, and need someone to be your partner through this processes.

 

Duties may include:

 

Pre-Wedding:

  • Immediate access to your planner via email, phone, and meetings during office hours

  • Creation of "Planning Roadmap": A rough timeline of the planning process outlining what you can expect over the next few months.

  • "State of the Union" Meeting: Establish priorities and identify design preferences.

  • Develop & Track Budget

  • Design Proposal & Execution

  • Customized Venue & Vendor Recommendations (2-3 per Category)

  • Attend at Core Vendor Meetings

  • Etiquette Advice

  • Contract Review & Reconciliation

  • Timeline Creation 

  • Venue Walk Through

  • Assistance Creating a "Must Shoot List"

  • Coordinating Transportation & Accommodations

  • Provide Marriage License Information

  • Vendor Confirmations

Rehearsal:

  • Coordinate with officiant, venue, and wedding party to choreograph the processional, ceremony, and recessional.

  • Reiterate schedule to wedding party and family.

 

Wedding Day:

  • Get the Bride Settled Into Her "Prep Space": Facilitate the arrival of beauty professionals, photographers, flowers, and food deliveries. 

  • Distribute Bouquets & Boutonnieres: Blot bouquets with a towel before passing to the Bride/Bridesmaids and assist  with pinning on boutonnieres.

  • Relay the "Must Shoot List" to the photographer.

  • Keep an eye on the clock, communicate with the Maid of Honor/Best Man to sure everyone stays on-time.

  • Greet vendors and instruct them where to set up.

  • Ensure the ceremony space is arranged according to the Couple's instructions.

  • Coordinate the Wedding Ceremony: Lining up the bridal party, communicating with the officiant to cue the beginning of the processional, and gathering friends and family afterwards for photos.

  • Ensure the reception venue is arranged according to the Couple's instructions.

  • Affirm the evening's timeline with vendors.

  • Cue Reception Events: Communicate cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss, toasts, first dance, etc. to the Bride & Groom, vendors, and other participants keeping the event on schedule.

  • Monitor Vendors: Is food circulating properly during cocktail hour? Are the tables set up to your specifications? Are guests receiving prompt service at the bar?

  • Handle any problems quickly and discretely.

  • Distribute final payments and gratuities.

  • Pack up personal belongings, gifts, and decor to be loaded into a loved one's car at the end of the night.

  • Coordinate bridal party and guest departure.

  • Facilitate vendor load-out.

The biggest myth about hiring an independent wedding coordinator is that you don't need to.
